One Mission: Zero Seizures.
Fédération Hospitalo-Universitaire (FHU) “Epilepsy and Disorders of Neuronal Excitability”
Epilepsy patients are getting attention and care from 7 Epinext cinical teams, distributed across the Hôpital Nord and the Hôpital de la Timone. Every year, 19 doctors are conducting more than 5,000 specialized epilepsy patients and explore 400 patients (incl. children) for potential surgical treatment.
Most clinicians are also active members in the research team of INS, UNIS and INMED. The Epinext hospitals also have a close relationship with the historical center of French Epilepsy care, the Centre Saint-Paul Hôpital Henri Gastaut where Epinext leader Prof. Fabrice Bartolomei serves as director. Major French patient associations like Epilepsie PACA and Epilepsie-France are also involved in the Epinext federation.
